Imagine a production flow of building 90% of modular homes apartment in a factory. It takes approximately 13 weeks with 45 stations to create over 400 modules. Does it always go smooth and faultless even with intensive planning and training? To monitor and standardize 350 tasks is complex and challenging. To ease the scenario, a workflow management system is the best solution.

Workflow and Quality Management

At SIBS, we have the SIBS Production System Flow (SPS Flow). It manages our daily production activities and ensure top-notch quality. The system acts as a facilitator for the production team to carry out sequential task. To sum up, it works like passing the baton and acts as a communication tool to connect the involved parties.

How It Works

The production supervisor handles or assigns a specific task for each workstation. The moment a task at the workstation ends, the supervisor notifies the QA inspectors. They inspect the outcome of the task, making sure it meets the requirements and standards.

Desired outcomes will be marked as approved to proceed to the next station. Meanwhile, defects found will be reported back to the supervisor to perform rework. Only when the quality standard is met after the rework, the next station’s production supervisor will be notified.

Engineer's Role

Engineers review performance metrics to identify tasks requiring improvement. In short, the system is a workflow administrator to define, synchronize, and automate tasks in workstations, notifying concerned parties.
