Located on a 15-acre land, almost 46,450 sq m – SIBS Malaysia got its new home. This expansion aims to grow as a family of 1,200 and produce 5,000 apartments. 

conveyor System

SIBS, manufacturing-inspired mass production system aims to be the world’s best productivity story. The new plant utilizes a conveyor system for home production. To illustrate, imagine beams transport modular units, controlling speed and acceleration between stations. New plant facility enables faster completion of 90% controlled environment buildings. As a result, we can produce more homes in less time. The conveyor system method expects an apartment block to finish within 14 days. Whereas, opening more conveyor lines allows for a completion time of less than 10 days.

Solar energy

New plant, inaugurated September 29, 2022, is a modern modular construction facility. The state-of-art facility has 20 self-made machines in 40 stations. Those self-made machines focuses on automation and future growth. Considering the energy usage, machinery and production line prompted to use solar energy. The initiative is important to reduce carbon footprint.

Interior Design

The new plant refers to “living or occurring to present.” Contemporary interior design features minimalist and aesthetic approaches. Such as glass, concrete, and steel for a modern yet contemporary aesthetic.

The Sky Bridge

We hold pride in introducing the unparallel sky bridge. It allows visitors to view production zone from walkway. Also, they can understand activities with information boards, showcasing home-making process. The boards aims to educate visitors on intelligent and effective construction methods. It focuses on new techniques, design, speed, and quality. This is an humble effort in providing comprehensive understanding of IBS construction.
